As women, we like to think that if a man were cheating on us we would know. “A woman just knows” is a common belief among women. While we would like to think our intuitions are never wrong, can we really rely on bare instinct? Is it true that we are built with an innate sense we can depend upon as if it were written in the bible?
In the days of women before us, the signs were there for dissection: Lipstick on the collar, a letter from his mistress in the pocket, in some cases, men simply stayed out all night. But long gone are the days when men so boldly cheated. In fact, they have become so artful in deception that a new breed of “psychic” women has evolved to keep this new specie in check. But again I ask, is a hunch really enough to go on? If we had actual signs to couple with our gut feeling we could be sure. But it’s a shame we don’t. Or do we?
