Whether dreaming of silhouettes or romantic beading, brides-to-be can find fashionable gowns that will suit their tastes and accent their figure, experts say.

Mermaid-style designs are among the most popular wedding gown designs, with a little color on the gown, heavy beading and a coordinating veil.

“You’ll be seeing silhouette dresses (to the floor), and some that are fitted to the waist or knee and then puffy,” said Sophia Adamson, owner of Ella Blu bridal shop, near Cielo Vista Mall. The store carries designer gowns including Lazaro, Alvina Valenta and Jim Hjelm.
