The designer of Britain’s Princess Diana’s wedding dress has created a range of clothes for the high street. David Emanuel - who created Diana’s gown with his ex-wife Elizabeth for her marriage to Prince Charles in 1981 - has designed an affordable collection for fashion store Bonmarche.

The autumnal line - which hits stores next month - is aimed at “mature” woman over 45 and comes in sizes 12 to 24. Highlights include the range of jersey dresses with plunging necklines priced from $48, a herringbone skirt with trim for $70 and an animal print sweater at $48.
