CAMILLA kept her cool on her first day in sweltering Pakistan — as she gave a nod to local custom by wearing loose cream trousers and a longer line gold jacket.
The suit was by her wedding outfit designer Robinson Valentine. Camilla topped it off with a co-ordinated scarf as she met the wives of Pakistan’s president and PM.
She also added a touch of glamour with a blinging Judith Lieber gold clutch bag — a favourite of stars such as Nicole Kidman and Liz Hurley.
Camilla was presented with a selection of jewel-encrusted traditional Pakistani outfits by local designer Farah Leghari.
Called shalwar kameez, they were handmade for her in royal blue diamante.
But Camilla is unlikely to wear them — since she is reluctant to depart from her usual wardrobe of safe, neutral beiges and creams. A royal spokesman said: “We already have all the clothes she needs for the trip.”
