‘Is Green the New Black?’ is the title of a week-long series of events at the London College of Fashion exploring the role of ethics in the UK fashion industry, now and in the future.
The week kicks off on Monday April 30th with a debate, open to all, featuring designers and businesses all working to ethical principles.

Discussion and workshops continue into the afternoon and speakers include creator of organic cosmetics (and Ronnie’s missus) Jo Wood, members of the Environmental Justice Foundation and eco footwear specialist, Galahad Clark. On Tuesday, May 1st there is Fashion 2027, a workshop which will attempt to look twenty years into the fashion future and see what progress could be made. Practical advice is offered by the Ethical Fashion Forum to help designers to find out how they can set up their own ethical businesses.
