The Pakistan Fashion Week Advisory Board will select a group of fashion designers to participate as part of an international showcase of Pakistan designers at Lakme Fashion Week Spring Summer 2008, being scheduled here in the city from October 13-17 2007. The Advisory Board at a meeting on 1st August 2007, will select designers to participate in the Pakistan Fashion Week being scheduled at the Royal Palm Golf & Country Club in Lahore from November 5-8 2007.
The main aim is to launch the Pakistan fashion industry internationally. The event is to be established in conjunction with IMG FASHION, the world’s premier fashion event organisation that is responsible for producing a number of the most successful international fashion weeks.
