Haute couture shows attract extremely rich people who can afford the most expensive clothes in the world. For the designers it’s a chance to celebrate fashion as an art.
Haute couture collections are created with unlimited budgets, but today no more than 500 women in the world buy clothes in haute couture houses. Almost certainly that is the reason why designers want to attract celebrities to their haute couture shows. Haute couture desperately needs new customers. Cate Blanchett, Rosamud Pike and Mr and Mrs Cruise are going to seat in the first row during the Armani’s Prive show.
