The most widely anticipated moment of this men’s fashion season in Paris was the first collection by Kris Van Assche for Dior Homme, the single most influential fashion brand for guys so far this century.
Given the weight of expectations and the repute of his successor Hedi Slimane, whose iconic status made him the sole men’s designer with a rock reputation, the weight of expectations on Van Assche was considerable.
