On the promotional trail for Elizabeth: The Golden Age since early September Cate Blanchett continues to put in a dazzling performance at premieres for the film around the world. At Tuesday’s gala screening in London the Aussie actress – who’s known for her classic yet edgy sartorial taste – wowed fans in an off-the-shoulder Vivienne Westwood number. The iridescent dress with corset structuring showed off Cate’s stunning figure - which she’s regained after losing weight to play the young Bob Dylan in the upcoming bio-pic I’m Not There.
Four nights earlier she was looking equally shapely in an Armani Prive green and black gown at the Rome premiere of the film, in which she reprises her role as Queen Elizabeth I. The plunging heart-shaped neckline and dramatic bustle were typical of the talented 38-year-old’s daring approach to fashion.
