Over five hundred designers have applied to show at the UK’s Alternative Fashion Week in 2007.
“We’ve had more applications than ever” Maggie Pinhorn of Alternative Arts told us, “and they’ve come from all over the world.” Last year’s event received widespread coverage from newspapers, magazines and several European televsion companies. “We don’t stand on ceremony at Alternative Fashion Week” says Maggie, “there is no VIP area and the front row is just as likely to be filled by members of the public as fashion editors.”
